The band formed in 1995 at St. Francis Xavier.They started playing covers but within a couple of months were writing progressive pop tunes.

They were quite original for the time and although physically weak and sexually unaware they were strong musicians and songwriters for their age.

They played around town, under bens house, and in m.j's loungroom for a couple of years.
They recorded a 6 track demo which saw their earliest songs put to tape, unfortunately the majority of their songs will never be heard again, but Ben and Rick are pretty sure that Schilli and M.j, being the most responsible, should have some old jamming tapes somewhere.
They changed their name to "soup official" before going their seperate ways.
